Damali sighed, and went through the steps of the praying dance for the umpteenth time while mentally reciting the steps to help her remember.

Sarili hugged her young daughter close, then handed her to her mate. She felt a pang of sadness as she watched them leave their humble hut and berated herself. The child was three years now, so she had to move to the Hut of Children.
It was their way, the Darkspear way no, the Troll way. She had done it before with her firstborn son. It had been hard, but she hadn't felt as sad and lost as she did now. Sarili touched the bump of her belly where her third child was already growing. She knew the Loa spirits had blessed her with fertility and that she should be thankful. It would only be for three years, after all.

Sometimes, reading a good book or playing a game with a good story can give you inspiration to write but in this case it just gave me a complete writers block.
I played the Dragon age games recently and I wanted nothing more then to write some fanfiction on the stuff but the writing is just too damned good. It would feel like I spoil the story somehow. Anybody else ever get that?
